About the Company

OMG Education is a creative and trauma-informed Independent Alternative Provision School for 11–18-year-olds who are disengaged from mainstream education. We focus on personalised education, mentoring, and vocational pathways – supporting young people with SEMH needs, SEND, and those at risk of exclusion. Our mission is to help every young person develop the tools to succeed in education, work, and life.

About the Role

The Behaviour and Family Liaison Officer is a key member of the pastoral team, responsible for leading the school’s behaviour, attendance, and welfare strategies. You will champion trauma-informed and restorative practices, provide 1:1 support to learners with complex needs, and work closely with families, staff, and external agencies to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.

As part of your role, you will also be required to teach a subject of your choice, maintain a strong connection with learners, parents, carers and model positive behaviour and classroom management.

In addition, you will act as a key contact for families and carers—building strong relationships, supporting the welfare, reintegration and safeguarding, and ensuring the home-school connection strengthens student outcomes.
